So far, the digitization still stands outside the education field, especially the school, though the digitization and modernization have been accepted widely in many fields.  

Why does the school need the digitization?

On one hand, mass information in the school needs to be released on time, such as notices, public news, images, tests, time schedule and various PPT files. It is more important that all of the above information should be released that day. If the traditional release method will be still applied, the school will face to the high cost with low efficiency.    

Moreover, the public focus on the school safety matter so that students and parents are eager to the solution for students bringing up safely in school. 

One the other hand, the digital technology is mature gradually to provide a better environment for producing digital TV program while digital record and edit are the key to the developing studio equipments. Therefore, it is inevitable to configure and install the digital signage system. 

Overall Solution

 1. Main application equipments

Play terminal：LCD, PDP, LED Big Screen, Projector, Video Wall and other terminals with various standardized interface.

 Multi-media information release system is divided to several parts:

a.      Inquiry system in Administration Building: News on school administration, Management Principle, School Discipline, etc.. 

b.      Multi-media information release system in School Building Corridor: Flash and video in class, school news, public information, test and meeting schedule, etc..

c.       E-board in classroom: Class Culture release, Class Meeting Schedule.

d.      Multi-media information release system in Student Center Hall: News and schedule on students’ activity, Community Meeting Schedule.

e.      E-board in Library: School News, public information, library news and discipline, kind notice.

The above-mentioned functions can be discussed to have a practical and related adjustment according to the real management requirements of the school.

2. Proposal Description
According to the requirements for establishing the main platform of LED/LCD multi-media release system and the characteristics of products and system, the AMS system can be regarded as the access terminal or the system can be terminal software with the customized hardware. 

1.1 System Composition

System contains AMS server, management software and display terminal. The management software can be installed in file servers or one single PC (any PC in the net) and manage the server and display terminal to download, play and control many types of files. The server can be used on Linux and Windows System.

Control based on net; Manage remotely; Download distributedly; Play media files automatically

1.2 System Configuration
The configuration is 1pc streaming media server(1 unit server software), infinite play terminal and various SCT management software. The exact quantity depends on the requirement of the school management. The management software is functional in the EXE program;

1). AMS system summary

AMS is one kind of multi-media promulgate system based on LANs or WANs; Support almost full popular formats; Make the Venture, Enterprise or Chain Stores become a multi-media information system promulgate platform which can play video, image, caption, flash, html, ppt and other items and provide high quality multi-media information service for customers.

2). System Function

a. Support audio, video, picture, PPT/TXT, FLASH, HTML and other more media formats

b. Support scroll text on notice, school news in different kinds of languages

c. Release dynamic exam information and meeting schedule via split-screen and full-screen

d. Support web browser, read data from other outside websites and inner system

f. Play and upgrade files to be controlled by software

h. Regulate the position and size of video windows freely

i. Support Flash website and JSP/ASP and other applying programs based on website

n. The terminal can be controlled to play, pause, reboot the program and delete files by software

2). System Feature

LED and LCD can be connected and controlled at the same time. The terminal has DVI and RS232 interfaces, so any data from LCD screen can be output to any area in LED screen instead of the original mainframe of LED when LCD screen also catch the input data. All of play schedules and contents can be controlled centrally. Therefore, it comes true to connect and control data platform together.
