Why Durkeesox fabric ductwork is one of a few star products in HVAC industry
Product Description
Early commercial applications of air conditioning were manufactured to cool air for industrial processing rather than personal comfort. In 1902 the first modern electrical air conditioning was invented by Willis Haviland Carrier in Syracuse, NY. Designed to improve manufacturing process control in a printing plant, his invention controlled not only temperature but also humidity
For the last 20–30 years, manufacturers of HVAC equipment have been making an effort to make the systems they manufacture more efficient.
The overall efficiency of a HVAC system is determined by AHU( air generator) and transmission duct( air supplier). Usually, an air handler is a large metal box containing a blower, heating and/or cooling elements, filter racks or chambers, sound attenuators, and dampers. With hundreds of years research and development, the continuing improvement in AHU manufacturing process has not been easy. While, on the other hand, we can’t ignore the great role ductwork plays in system efficiency.
As mentioned above, the ductwork serves as a mail carrier here to deliver the airflow AHU generated to the desired places. So the accuracy control on air throw and air direction is a key factor in a high efficiency ductwork. Compared with traditional metal ductwork, one of major advantages of Durkeesox fabric ductwork is the wide range of end airflow velocity and orientation control in a very precise manner. Countless orifices could be opened on duct surface to deliver airflow to specified area respectively, all based on system design and layout.
There are of course more persuasive advantages our system possesses over metal duct system, such as: lower system cost, much less system weight, easy to clean and maintain, condensation free, etc.
we believe fabric air duct was an innovative products and high lights in HVAC industry these years. The soaring price of metal products and to be exhausted resource of ironstone just help pave the way for us to replace most of the metal ducts for supplying air ductwork in the years to come.
