Product Summary:
JK-3 retarder and high range water reducing admixture is used to solve technical problems of
plasticity-maintaining, applicable to commercial concrete, high-fluid concrete, high strength and high-performance concrete, retarder, or super-retarder concrete, mass concrete and so on. Using this product can reduce the slump loss of the concrete to achieve the pouring and ensure the quality of project. This product has two kinds of powder and liquid form, using the liquid is converted according to the same effect with solid content.

Principal Technical Performances:
1. The mixing amount is 0.5-1.2% (powdery) of the cementitious material. 1.5-3.0 % (liquid), the water-reducing rate is 15-32%.
2. The product has a retarding effect; the technical performance norm exceeds the norm of the national retarder and high reducing-water admixture (first class).
3. This product has good adaptability of cement. The plasticity-maintaining effect is clear, the slump loss is minimal.
4. Early strength of concrete and the late strength is security without retarding and plastic effect, concrete’s strength will improve 50 - 80% 3 days, increased by 40 - 70% 7 days, increased 30 - 70 % 28 days. Late strength continued to grow.
5. Can reduce the early heat of hydration of cement, hydration heat peak delay occurred that is conducive to the quality of mass concrete construction.
6. Applicable to the preparation of C50-C80 high strength and high-performance concrete.

Applied Points of Technology:
1. The powder is calculated according to the cementitious material rate, liquid product is calculated by solid content, and water content will be minus from ratio.
2. Preferably use the later admixing; the extended admixing time is better for the uniformity.
3. This product is useable to confect the antifreeze, which prevent effectively from sodium sulfate crystal.
4. When the concrete is admixed the expansive admixture, all kinds of fine mineral admixtures, special cement, early strength cement or cement containing anhydrite, should first be determined by experiments or to allow the company to deploy.
