Per RegTP Decree No. 45/2000 EMCC DR. RAS was authorized to exercise the tasks of a "NOTIFIED BODY" under Directive 1999/5/EC. EMCCert DR. RASK has been officially recognized as a "Notified Body" by the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA). The "NOTIFIED BODY" EMCCert DR. RASK covers the full scope of Annexes III, IV and V of the Directive. The "Notified Body" services complement the TCB role under the EU-US Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) allowing one-stop European Community and US certification services.
With this recognition EMCCert DR. RASK can offer the full services of a "NOTIFIED BODY" according to the Directive 1999/5/EC:
Consulting on all necessary steps for a smooth transition from the "old" licensing procedures to the R&TTE Directive
Competent advice on applicable standards and on required tests
Evaluation of the essential requirements according to R&TTE Directive (like EMC, safety and effective use of the spectrum)
Approval of quality assurance systems per Annex V of the R&TTE Directive
Assistance in establishing Technical Construction Files (TCF) per Annex IV of the Directive
Notification to the National Frequency Management Authorities of the EU Member States
