Wool felt is a traditional material in the history of civilisation. Even though the methods to produce wool
felt have been refined over the centuries, the manufacturing principle and the basic raw materials have
remained unchanged. Sheep´s wool or wool fibres are continuously felted and compacted by moisture, heat and friction until a homogenous fabric is formed, namely wool felt. To fulfil specific requirements and uses, wool felt can be producted in different degrees of hardness ranging from as
