Adjustable Sensor Switch

The sensor switch is developed and manufactured by CREWEAL with infrared ray control technology. It “sees” the temperature changes caused by the motion of people in its detection zone and turns on automatically. It will be on when people come nearby and be off when people leave away. Meanwhile, the sensor switch provides adjustable function to easily set the starting brightness and lighting time. To save energy the sensor switch can’t be lit up when the brightness is enough, and it will be off in the set time if no motion is detected. It’s easy to use with competitive price. The sensor switch is suitable for bathroom, kitchen, closet, garage, basement, laundry room, hallway etc, where there is no need for continuous lighting.

3. Usage

(1) Turn the “LUX” knob to set the maximum starting illuminance that you prefer. If you want the sensor switch to turn on in both bright environment and dark environment, turn the knob towards the icon “SUN” .Otherwise if you want the sensor to turn on only at night, turn the knob towards the icon “MOON”. You can adjust the knob between “SUN” and “MOON” to set a maximum starting illuminance you prefer.

(2) Turn “TIME” knob to set the time that the sensor switch can remain on. Turn the knob from “5SECS” to “2MINS”, the on time of the sensor switch will prolonged step by step.

The sensor switch starts while the movement of people is detected. And it will keep on lighting for the time that you set after the sensor signal disappears, that is because either people leaving the detection zone or staying in the detection zone but without any action. You can adjust the time knob to 5SECS or 2MINS to set the sensor to keep lit for about 5 seconds or 2 minutes. And you can also set the time you preferred between 5SECS and 2MINS.

Please be reminded that the sensor switch can be continuously triggered. If the sensor switch detects the movement of people during its lighting, it will be retriggered and restart counting the time which prolongs the lit time. As long as there is movement in the detection zone, the sensor switch will keep on.

4. Installation

(1)Shut off the power before fixing the sensor switch.

(2) Pull open the bottom lid, then fix the bottom lid with the expansion tube and screw in the selected position.

(3) Connect the power and the load with sensor switch. The power source wires of the sensor switch is white and black, and the load wires is red and black. Misconnection of the wires may damage the sensor. Loosen the screws on the connector, and connect the power with the white and black wires and screw up, then connect the load with the red and black wires in the same way.

(4) Assembly the sensor switch with the bottom lid, screwing up with the long screws.

(5) The detection direction can be changed by turning the round part of the sensor switch.

(6)Power on the sensor switch, the lamp will turn on no matter the environment is bright or dark at first start. If there is no motion detected, the sensor switch will turn off automatically in the set time. At the first start the lit time will be a little longer than the time you set.

(7)Later the sensor switch will work as your configuration.

5. Cautions

(1)The sensor switch detects the change of infrared ray to control its start. Everything gives out infrared ray with different wavelength. Even though the sensor has already filtered and only detects the infrared ray of 5-14μm which is fit for human beings, inevitably, there are some things that can give out infrared ray of the same wavelength as human beings, the motion of those objects may also trigger the sensor switch. That is normal but not problem.

(2)Do not overload when connect the sensor switch with the fluorescent lamp or incandescent lamp.

(3)Should be installed by electrician or experienced person.

(4)Do not disassemble and repair the sensor switch when its life expires.
