SPMT (self-propelled modular trailer) for Girder Carrier is a kind of heavy tansportation equipment used in bridge construction during high speed railway construction, which is used with birdge train to transport the large integral box girder. Currently the girder transporting vehicle used in main line girder is 900T and that used in branch line girder is 600T.

Technical specification:

1.       600T and 900T SPHMTs for girder carrier are mainly used to transport concrete prefabricated box girder with a large tonnage and capable of transferring single-track or double-track full celllular box girder from fabrication yard to girder erection position, completing the corresponding girder-transporting vehicle can also carry bridge girder erection equipment to achieve short-distance transportation between bridges so as to meet the operational requirements of birdge girder erection equipment yard-transferring.

2.       The general design for girder-transporting vehicle manufatured in our company conforms to all requirements specified in Development Technical Specificfation for Beijing-Shanghai Highspeed Railway Transportation Equipment. And girder-transportation vehicle is provided with versatility and capable of finishing tasks with cooperation of other bridge girder erection equipments of different types.

3.       Girder-transportation vehicle is wheel-mounted type and is hydrostatic pressure driving as well as hydraulic suspension independent turing or hydraulic turning by driving connecting rod. The structure of vehicle frame is overhead type double box girder, spliced bertically and easy for longdistance transportation, assembly and disassembly.

4.       The parameter of girder-transportating vehicle meets the allowable bearing capacity of sub-grade and culvert & bridge structure passed-by when transporting girder.

Electrical system of SPHMT for girder-transportation vehicle is composed of main control system and auxiliary electrical system. Main control system consists of engine monitoring system, propelling control system, auto-identification and turning control sytstem and entire vehicle leveling control system, etc. The advanced special electro-hydraulic controller (Finland EPEC Company)  for engineering machinery is utilized to constitute the control center.
