Plane train scheduling system is applied to train scheduling in railway station field and it forms the communication channel of train scheduling operation controllers, engine drivers and the chief controller of train scheduling area. It makes the accurate transmission of voice and train scheduling operation commands in the channel. The system is a common frequency simplex packet network, which can transmit not only voice signals (calling) but also scheduling operation commands and can transmit many calling at the same time. The system adopts many internationally advanced information processing technique for the purpose of flexibility and reliability.
System Characteristics:
1. Applications of Computer Techniques
The system adopts single chip microprocessor as key technique and MEGA series chips of ATMEL Company, which makes the plane train scheduling system have the character of intelligence with high flexibility and high reliability.
2. Safety Controlling System
(1) Safety protection of running commands
When the controller sends out running commands, the hand radio of the controller sends out discontinuous commands testing cab. Once the hand radio is broken or the commands sending is failed for some reasons, the cab radio can find out the failure and sends out sound indication then the scheduling operation commands gives out red light of stopping.
(2) Safety protection of mutual crosstalk
The system adds the team code of the scheduling team to the commands in coding. So even if the signal crosstalk happens, the scheduling operation command in one scheduling team cannot activate the light displaying of another team to guarantee the cab running safety.
(3) Green lights adopt alternating current lighting.
Green lights adopt alternating current lighting in order to avoid signal upgrading by failure of circuit hardware. So the green signal is lighted by not only alternating current generated by software but also the pins of microprocessor, which can avoid mistaken green lighting by the failure of lighting drive interface and the mistakes of software.
(4) Chain braking of braking operators
For the operation safety, the system gives different persons in one scheduling team different numbers. After many braking operators give out braking commands at the same time (Red 2 lighted), when all these operators take turns to give out unlock commands, the braking state is eliminated (Red 2 out). After one braking operator gives out braking command, only the unlock command that is sent by this operator can eliminate the braking and commands sent by other operators cannot.
3. The application of voice synthesizing
The system adopts the technique of voice synthesizing to transmit the commands sent by scheduling operators to engine drivers by standard voice and returns these commands to every operator in the team in order to intensify the information received by drivers and guarantee the reliability of commands sending.
4. Data recording system
The system has the data collection and recording subsystem of train scheduling in the cab radio to record the attributes and time of the scheduling commands. According to the analysis of these data, we can find out the process of scheduling and analyze reason of scheduling accidents. The system has the function of protecting power-off and adopts EEPROM to store information, which cannot be lost forever.
5. Flexibility
The flexibility of the system is demonstrated at strong adaptability. Because of the different explanations of scheduling commands in different stations, the software of the system can be modified to satisfy different requirements, which is convenient to operators.
