Naringin is a flavonoid compound found in grapefruit. It can resist fungusm and inflammation. It is also antivirus and can be inhibiting canser-causing. Studies have also shown that narigin interferes with enzymatic activity in the intestines and, thus, with the breakdown of certain drugs, resulting in higher blood levels of the drug. Naringin is widely used in medicine industry.
