The Le Corbusier Pony Chair (LC1) is considered to be a reinterpretation of the British fficers chair. First exhibited at the Salon D?Automne in 1929 with brilliant icons like the Chaise lounge this chair uses exposed structural elements with hide leather seat and back with padded, banded armrests.

Available in a Tubular Steel chrome frame, this state of the art modern chair creates an air of elegance and class. The pony skin seat and back adds to the beauty of this minimalist yet attractive chair. Depending on your preferences, you can select from the following finishes - Brown-White, Black-White and Black-Brown-White.

The sling chair allows the user to choose the most comfortable posture for rest of work. The reclining back provides continuous comfort and support in different working positions. The arms, two solid leather straps, can rotate freely around the upper ends of the uprights. In its shape, the mobility of its back and the presence of straps, it was inspired by the "safari" chair used earlier by Le Corbusier in some of his interiors. The modulated, cubic geometry enveloping it and the upright pommels are reminiscent of a bishop's stool. The traditional folding chair of the british colonial officers inspired Le Corbusier to design this model.
