The stability of
1. Flammable liquid, strong hygroscopicity. Is a mixture of cis and trans isomers. It has the properties of a general alkene and a primary alcohol. In the presence of acid, 2, 5-dihydrofuran or butenal is formed by heating, and the cis-isomer in particular is prone to reaction.
