The refrigerant
Applicable to all kinds of non-flammable refrigerants, including ammonia and other non-corrosive gas \ liquid working fluid (the compatibility of sealing medium needs to be considered). It is not recommended to be used on flammable and explosive hydrocarbon refrigerants. The valve should be used inside a sealed refrigeration system. Please contact Danfoss for more details.

Technical data
The ICM electric valve adopts a balanced spool structure, and its function needs to be controlled by a driver. ICM electric valve can be applied to the suction, liquid supply, hot gas and gas-liquid mixing lines of the refrigeration system. The control signal obtained by the ICM electric valve through the driver module can switch or continuously adjust the working medium. Please refer to the relevant design and selection of the technical manual.
The design of the ICM electric valve is used with Danfoss' drive ICAD. The ICAD driver on ICM is compatible with Danfoss controllers and other brand controllers, especially PLC controllers. The Danfoss controller or programmable (PLC) control signal makes the motor of the driver ICAD operate, and the shaft of the ICM is rotated by electromagnetic coupling to open and close the valve.

Valve size
The size of ICM electric valve can be adjusted according to different flow range. Coverage from ICM 20-A (Kv: 0.6 m 3 / h) to ICM 65-B
(Kv: 70 m 3 / h)
Modular concept
The parts of the ICM electric valve can be ordered separately or the entire valve can be ordered as required. Ordered parts include valve body, functional module and electric valve driver.

Because the maintenance interval is related to the operating conditions, such as the frequency of use of the valve, how many foreign objects have entered the system, it is difficult to give an accurate valve maintenance schedule.
The ICM electric valve is easy to disassemble and repair. All components can be realized by replacing the functional module. Please do not open the valve when the ICM electric valve is under pressure. Before removing the top cover, you can use a manual opening device (Figure 6) to open the valve to balance the internal pressure. If the Teflon gasket (figure 4, position 19) is damaged, be sure to replace the spare parts.

Valve decomposition (Figure 2)
Please do not take out the function module when the ICM electric valve is under pressure.
(1) Take out the 4 bolts on the top cover and twist it about 45 degrees in any direction.
(2) Insert two screwdrivers into the gap between the end cover and the valve body.
(3) Pry the screwdriver upwards and take out the functional module and O-ring.
Replace function module
Functional modules are easy to replace. Take out the existing function module (Figure 2):
ICM 20-65 series servo master
(1) Take out the 4 bolts on the top cover and twist it about 45 degrees in any direction.
(2) Insert two screwdrivers into the gap between the end cover and the valve body.
(3) Pry the screwdriver upwards and take out the functional module.
‒ Take out the existing function module.
‒ Apply a small amount of freezing oil to the O-ring on the new function module.
Never apply grease or oil to the stem of the ICM electric valve (Fig. 4).
If the valve seat has been removed, the top of the ICM still needs to be in contact with it. The two hexagonal set screws fixed in the insert cannot be used for precise calibration tightening.
Please use original Danfoss accessories (stuffing box, O-ring and gasket) for replacement. When replacing spare parts, please confirm in advance whether the material of the new spare parts is suitable for the relevant refrigerant.
