Product Uses

1. Pentaerythritol is used in the coating industry, and can be used to make the coating of alkyd resin, which can improve the hardness, gloss and durability of the coating.

2. It is also used as the raw material for the dry oil, smouldering paint and aviation lubricants. The fatty acid ester of pentaerythritol is an efficient lubricant and polyvinyl chloride plasticizer, and its epoxy derivatives are the raw materials for the production of non-living surfactant.

3. Pentaerythritol is an easy and metal-forming complex and is used as a hard water softener in the detergent formula.

4. In addition, it is used in medicine, pesticide and other production.

5. Pentaerythritol molecules contain four identical hydroxymethyl groups, which have high symmetry, and are often used as a source of multifunctional compounds. It is made from nitrification and can be made of pentaerythritol tetranitrate (taian, PETN), a type of high explosive;Esterification of pentaerythritol trimethacrylate (PETA) is used as a coating. A flame retardant for adhesives and an expansive flame retardant with ammonium polyphosphate (APP).

6. It is also used as a crosslinking agent for polyurethane, and provides a chain in polyurethane.
