PT-10 1008 E1 signal over Ethernet Protocol Converter
1.Brief Introduction
The 8E1 TDMoIP is the new generation of the TDM over IP equipment with IP circuit emulation that supports transportation of 8 E1 and two local Ethernet ports over Ethernet or IP network. The uplink ports and user data ports are IEEE 802.3 compliant, 10/100 BaseT auto-sensed Ethernet port.
IP encapsulation adopts UDP format, which supports inner transmission in Ethernet network, and also supports route exchange transmission among network segments. The transmitted E1 can be framed or un-framed format, the E1 interface of the same TDM over IP equipment can be connected with the different remote TDM over IP equipment.

6.Configuration and function
6.1Front panel
6.1.1.LED indication
lPWR: it is power supply indicator light, it will be green when power supply works normally;
lRUN: it is system indicator light, it will be green when system works normally;
lNMS: it is NMS indicator light, it will be green blinking when transmission NMS data;
lALM: it is alarm indicator light, it will be red when any 2M loss.
6.1.2.NMS interface
PT-10 100X TDM over IP Equipment has two types of NMS interface: ETH NMS interface and RS232 NMS interface, through these two types of NMS interface can only management local equipment.
6.1.3.ETH interface
PT-10 100X TDM over IP Equipment has 4 ETH interface, therein ETH-1, ETH-2 are downlink interface; ETH-3, ETH-4 are uplink interface. ETH-3, ETH-4 interface can be used to NMS interface, user can management remote equipment through these two interfaces.
6.1.4.Optical interface
User can configure ETH-4 interface to optical Ethernet interface through NMS, transmission through optical interface.
6.1.5.Power switch
Power switch: ON to turn on, OFF to turn off.
6.2Rear panel
6.2.1.Power interface
PT-10 100X TDM over IP Equipment supports two types of power supply mode: 220VAC or 48VDC.
6.2.2.E1 interface
PT-10 100X TDM over IP Equipment has up to 8 E1 interfaces, the E1 interface bit rate is 2.048Mbps, supports E1 frame,non-frame setting, it compatible with ITU-T G.703 standards. The connectors adopt unbalanced 75 ohm connector.
