This product has the following features:
- The wide range of excitation wavelength, narrow emission wavelength range, thus we can use the same kind of excitation light to arouse many QDs at the same time, emiting different wavelengths of fluorescence. Compared to traditional fluorescent dye molecules, fluorescent excitation wavelength range of fluorescent dye is relatively narrow, need multiple wavelength excitation light to stimulate a variety of fluorescent dyes, taking in inconvenience to practical work. (2) The narrow symmetry emission peak with small overlap, while fluorescent emission peak width was not only asymmetric, but also trailing badly and overlap seriously, easy to interfere with each other, which bring to the analysis of detection problems. (3) Emission wavelength can be tuned by controlling the size and composition, it is arbitrary to synthesize different wavelength of QDs. Uniform size of QDs for spectral peak is symmetry Gaussian distribution. (4) The fluorescence intensity and stability is about 100 times of ordinary fluorescent dye, to tag the object can be a long time observation. (5) After all kinds of chemical modification of QDs with good biocompatibility, can undertake specific connection with less harmful organism, can undertake biological living tags and detection, and the fluorescent dye generally was bigger toxicity, poor biological compatibility.
