Properties: It is odorless or slightly salty white or milky white crystalline or granular powder. It is Soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol and ether. It has a wide range of coordination properties.  It can form a stable chelate with almost all the metal ions. It has important uses in dyes, food, medicine and other industries.

Usage: It is an antidote, complexing agent, antioxidant synergist, stabilizer and softener for heavy metal. It is an important complexing agent for the complexion of metal ions and metal separation.
