High alumina brick Introduction
For the temperature of refractoriness under load of the High alumina brick is normally above 1420~1550℃ that is higher than the fireclay brick and it increases along with the AL2O3 content enhances.
The Shock resistance is mainly decided by chemical contents and its mineral microstructure but its thermal shock resistant is worse than the fireclay brick. High alumina brick have very good ability of anti-acidity, anti-metal fluid corrode and anti-oxidation.
High alumina brick are used normally in industry furnaces such as Blast furnace, hot-blast furnace and EAF etc.
