As it is made of cast iron, has superior heat distribution and retention, evenly heating bottom sidewalls and even the lid.

The excellent heat retention reduces the amount of energy needed for cooking.

The color porcelain enamel on cast iron can be used on gas, electric, ceramic and induction cooktops, as well as in the oven.

Not recommended for use on outdoor grills or over open outdoor flames. Not for use in microwaves.

CARE:

-Before first use, wash cookware in warm, soapy water with sponge or dishcloth.

  Not recommended to wash with  abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads

-When cooking, use low to moderate heat. High heat is not necessary and may damage the pan.

-Do not pour cold water into hot pan suddenly.

TO CLEAN: Simply wash in warm, sudsy water and rinse thoroughly.

                        Cleaning in dishwasher not recommended.
