P355ML1 steel plate is a kind of material for boiler and pressure vessel steel. P355ML1 steel plates is characterized by a minimum yield strength of 345-355 MPa and by good weldability, so P355ML1 steel is mainly used to for manufacturing boilers.

EN10028-5 standard specification for weldable fine grain steels, thermomechanically rolled.

EN10028-5 covers the steel grades given in three qualities:

a) The basic series (P...M)

b) Series with low temperature properties down to -40 °C (P...ML1);

c) Series with low temperature properties down to -50 °C (P...ML2).
