A.Characterestics of Ozone
Ozone contains of 3 oxygen atoms so call it O3 whose molecular weight is 48. This O3 chemical characterestics is very unstable and easily reduced to O2. It is a strong oxidant just the next of fluorine and a good sterilized gas. Usually, i t has no color but very special smell when its concentration approaches 0.01 ~ 0.02 PPM. Ozone is just safe by max. 0.1 PPM., otherwise thick Ozone is harmful for men. Ozone can dissolve much into water instantly, its solubility is 13 times of oxygen, and its sterilization is 3,000 times of chlorine. It can dissolve very much organic matter and heavy metals to purify water, then this O3 can be reduced naturally within 20 minutes at room temperature, so makes no contamination to the environment any longer.
B.Utility application of Ozone
On air pollution statistics, Ozone and solid particles are the 2 major murders. But in the water purification, Ozone is an optimal chemical. D.Safety application of Ozone
By medical research, it is no harm as long as continuous inhalation never be over 0.1 PPM of any form of Ozone. PSI regulation is not allowed Ozone total intake over 0.12PPM within one hour or continued 8 hours whose concentration less than 0.06 PPM.
In Japan and U.S., Ozone concentration for one hour continuous intake must be less than 0.1PPM. Thus, a perfect Ozone generator should be good at gas concentration control instead of high output.
