Properties: White or colourless rhombic crystalline or prismatic crystal, easily soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol, relative density 1.63, melting point 34.6, when heated to 180'C, it may lose crystal water, convert to anhydrous.
Uses: In food processing industry, as emulsifier, nutrition intensifier, quality improver in processing food industry, and used in the refining of sugar and A-starch, also used as the detergent of bottle or jar that used in food industry, etc.

Storage and transport: It should be stored in a dry, ventilative and clean warehouse; Kept away from moisture and hot. Furthermore, it should be stored separately from poisonous substances.
