PVC INSULATED  POWER CABLE

Characteristics and Applications:

PVC insulated power cable has the advantages of not only high mechanical strength, good ambient stress resistance, good electrical properties and anti-chemical corrosion, but also simple construction, light weight and convenient to use. It applies to electrical power transmission and distribution lines with A.C. rated voltage U0/U up to and including 0.6/1 kilovolts.

The main features of the flame retardant PVC power cable is hard to catch on fire or that the continuous burning of cables is very limited when it is on fire. It applies to the places with many cables laid tightly together such as power generated station, subway, tunnel, high-storey building and other places concerning to fire security and its lifesaving.

The main characteristics of low smoke, low halogen, flame retardant power cable is low smoke emission and low release of HCL gas besides the property of flame retardant.

It can be used in the places with special demands of the density of smoke emission and the release value of HCL gas if cable is burnt.

The main characteristics of low smoke, halogen-free, flame retardant power cable is very low smoke emission and harmless (low toxic, low corrosive) besides the property of flame retardant. It can be used in such kinds of places as subway, tunnel, power station with special demands of property of flame retardant, the density of smoke density toxic index if cable is burnt.

Operating characteristics:

(1) Rated voltage U0/U is 0.6/1 kilovolts.

(2) Maximum rated temperature of cable conductor is 90℃

(3) Maximum conductor temperature is lower than 250℃ when cable is shorted for less than 5 seconds.

(4) Ambient temperature is not lower than 0℃ and its minimum bending radius is as follows when cable is installed: for single-core calbe-20(D+d), unit: millimeter for multi-core cable-15(D+d), unit: millimeter

Note: D denotes the overall diameter of cable, while means the nominal diameter of the main conductor, unit: millimeter.
