APPLICATION

SWA Cable – power and auxiliary control cables for use in power networks, underground, outdoor and indoor applications and for use in cable ducting. For installation where fire, smoke emission and toxic fumes create a potential threat to life and equipment.

BS 6724, BS EN/IEC 60502-1, BS EN/IEC 60754-1 and 2, BS EN 50267-2-1 and 2, BS EN/IEC 61034-1, BS EN/IEC, 60332-1-2, BS EN/IEC 60332-3-24.

CONSTRUCTION

Conductor

Class 2 stranded copper conductor according to BS EN 60228 (previously BS 6360)

Insulation

XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) Type GP8 according to BS 7655

Bedding

LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) Type LTS1 according to BS 765
