Many organizations have their own canteen or facility on contract to provide food/meal at economical price for their employees. CMS design provides a user friendly system that facilitates quick and efficient operations to cover larger section of employees within a specified time. This system is also compatible in an environment where multiple Caterers operate in a closed environment or at multiple locations.

The CMS works on various concepts which fits the requirement of the work place / organizations etc. The various type of CMS are given below :

  2. CMS based on Item and Kisok operations.
  3. CMS Based on Smart CArd Applications. 
  4. CMS Based on Fingerprint / Card REaders where readers have independent keys which defines the item code of the items. 

The objective of the system is to automate all the activities of the canteen right from purchases to maintaining the kitchen. The system maintains a detailed account of all provisions bought and food served at the canteen. In addition to this, it should also maintain the daily expenses incurred by the staff. The system should provide an interface to payroll for deductions. Several inquiry facilities should also be provided to view the expenses incurred/ planned menus/cash payment etc. In short following are the list of facilities that should be provided with the system: list of items served with rates, Daily Menu preparations (breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks), daily transactions (breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks),
