What is a Final Random/ Pre-Shipment Inspection (FRI/ PSI)?

The Final Random Inspection (FRI), or Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI), checks finished products when at least 80% of your order has been produced and export-packed. Samples are selected at random, according to AQL sampling standards and procedures.

The Final Random Inspection ensures that the production complies with your specifications and/or the terms of your purchase order or letter of credit.

Factory Evaluation

Normally Factory Evaluation (FE) is conducted within ONE day, before the buyer places an order to a new vendor, at the manufacturer's premises. FE is generally similar to the ISO9000 norm but made simpler. During FE we will perform verification and evaluation, get as much as possible manufacturer’s information for your sourcing decision-making, including (not limited to):manufacturer profile, employees & workforce, facility, experience, documents & qualifications, production status, production capability & capacity, quality system (quick check), etc.

Factory Audit

Normally Factory Audit (FA) is conducted within TWO days, before the buyer places an order to a new vendor, at the manufacturer's premises.FA is based on ISO9000 norm but more concern on quality system. During FA we will perform verification and auditing, and provide necessary instruction (according to your specific requirements) as well. Besides the content of IFE, an FA also covers more details and all aspects regarding manufacturer’s quality system, including:design control, vendor control, incoming inspection, production control, key workmanship, routine inspection & testing, customer complaint handling, storage management, etc.  With an FA, you will be fully aware of the comprehensive status of the manufacturer.

Why You Need an FE or FA: To avoid buy blind! An on-site visit by our experienced auditor is the effective way to make you know who you are dealing with, and help you make correct decision. We are glad to serve as your extended eyes and ears.

Social Audit

Social Audit (SA) is performed to ensure you are doing business with manufacturers in which social rights are respected and social responsibilities are concerned. An SA is conducted at the manufacturer’s premises with reference to SA8000, including child labor, forced labor, health & Safety, freedom of association and right to bargain, discrimination, disciplinary practices, working hours and environment, compensation, etc.

Why you need a SA:Dealing with a vendor who is not abiding by international basic laws is high-risky. Any campaign or lawsuit denouncing working conditions or other social right could be devastating for your brand. Our SA service will help you start proactive sustainable procurement approach.
