Range of application

    Widely adaptable for reactive power local compensation equipment of winding asynchronous machine with changing load torque in the industries including cement industry, chemical industry, wood industry, sugar industry, iron and steel, metallurgy and mine, etc. The applicable power of the asynchronous machine is 75~10000kW.

Working principle and characteristics

It adopts micro-computer and AC—AC frequency conversion technology to produce a three-phase power supply with the same frequency, with the mutual deviation of phase of 90°and with the same alplitude value to the motor. It penetrates the rotor loop and changes the power factor on the rotor side and then change power factor on stator side to realize the reactive power compensation.

Except the function of the common static phase advancer, it also adopts the ring locking control principle so as to automatically trace the change in load to make sure that the compensation is according to the change in the load to keep the compensation effect in best stage in any load condition as always.

It is a breakthrough for the solution of changing load motors in-situ compensation, and becomes a new invention in the national field of this technology.

Adopting advanced AC—AC frequency conversion and micro-computer technology with high reliability.

Rising the power factor of the motor to 0.95~0.99 and reducing the reactive power over 60%.

Reducing 10%~20% of the stator current of the motor and reducing 20%~30% of the line loss and copper loss.

The temperature rise of the motor is obviously reduced. The efficiency and over-load capacity are greatly improved. And the service life of the motor is prolonged.

The compensation performance far exceeds the capacitor compensation.It increases the power factor not only of the circuit but also the motor.

Comprehensive function is better than rotary advancer, micro-computer controls and it can automatically track working situations of the motor and automatically adjust related parameters in order to keep the best compensation effect. It is more capable of adapting the environment because of without turning parts.

The compensation performance in the operation condition of changing load far exceeds the common static phase advancer, adopting double CPU for control and adjusting the related parameters according to the change in load to realize the dynamic compensation and make the power factor in optimal state as always.

Application environmental conditions

Environment temperature: －40℃~50℃.

The relative humidity of air does not exceed 90%.

The altitude does not exceed 2000m (special design can be carried out according to the detailed operating condition in case that the altitude exceeds 2000m).

Ground gradient dose not exceed 5°.

No fire and explosion hazard exist in the installation place and no chemical corrosion and excessive vibration exist.

Description of model selection

The stator current of the motor change in the range of the rated values. Please select the adapting type according to the above table. For example, WVP6-1200G shows that this equipment is suitable for the second-generation variable load phase advancer. The current of the motor rotor is not more than 1200A, and rated voltage is over 3000V. In case that the range of variation of the motor stator current exceeds the rated value, please select a higher grade according to the WVP of the rated value of the motor.
