Unique Features of AiMu MCu IUD

  The research and development of “Ai Mu” MCu IUD conforms to the design route that reflects the dynamic mechanism of uterus.  The product enjoys such competitive advantages as anti-repulsion, premium quality, long acting and slight side effects.

1. TiNi shaped memory alloy is selected to make the supports.  Compared with supports those are made of stainless steel, silicon gel and other materials, supports made of TiNi shaped memory alloy enjoy the following distinctive advantages:

 (2) Corrosion resistance.

(3) Fatigue resistance.

(4) Good tissue compatibility.

2. Designed according to the form of the uterine cavity and mechanical principle, it can expand and contract as the womb does, which effectively addresses the problems of downward movement and expulsion.

3. For copper grains on the end of two arms are inserted to high place of “pass”, which is close to two uterine horns, a zone with high density of copper ions is formed in this area; copper sleeves on two side arms deliver the effective contraceptive substance to the high, middle, and low section of the uterine cavity, thus further strengthen the contraceptive effect.

4. With copper surface area of 120mm2 and a smooth surface, this IUD has little stimulation to the endometrium and slight side effects such as bleeding and pain.

5. Being without tail filament, the possibility of retrograde infection is extinguished and discomfort to men is eliminated.

                           Clinical Effect

1. MCu IUD has good clinical effect, low expulsion rate, low pregnancy rate with IUD in situation, and low rate of removal due to adverse symptoms.

2. Slight side effects and low rate of removal due to adverse symptoms.  An isolated number of IUD users have experienced short-term light hypogastrium pain and uterus bleeding or increased leucorrhea volume, which naturally get better several days later;

3. Simple convenient insertion and removal operation with slight pain to the operated;

4. Easy and convenient rechecking by means of B ultrasonic wave or X-rays after insertion of IUD;

5. Immediate recovery of fecundity upon removal of IUD.

Expiry Date

As calculated in terms of solution and corrosion rates of both copper and the support, this kind of IUD could remain in the uterus for 15 years within the context of human body fluid.  After 15 years, it should be replaced.  Do remove it before menopause.
