Properties: It’s white crystal or powder. Odorless. the relative density of hexagonal crystal system: 3.08; that of cubic system:2.665(17°C). ph: a little below 7, with hygroscopic, slightly soluble in water. Soluble in muriatic acid and the solubility will increase a little with the temperature rises. Insoluble in alcohol. it hydrolyzes potassium fluoride, hydrogen fluoride and silicic acid in hot water; decomposes into potassium fluoride and silicon tetrafluoride when in ignition.
Application: Used as antiseptic of limber industry; used as assistant in smelting Mg and Al in metallurgy; used in the production of potassium glass, optical glass and jealous glass in glass industry; used in production of insecticide in pesticide industry; used in production of intermediate in organic industry; used as analytical reagent in analytical chemistry; used in production of antiseptic materials in chemical industrial production; used as material for pottery and porcelain, synthetic mica etc.
Packing and storage: Typical bulk packaging 50KG or 1000KG in plastic woven bag with inner PE film bag. Stored in cool warehouse with ventilation, away from fire, heat, and avoid sunlight. Pls note that separate from oxidant, acid and food chemicals, avoid mixed storage.
