Typically for these furnaces is the assembly by means of a carriage which can be driven at ground level - mostly on rails - into the furnace. The bogie hearth furnace shown here is also a lift door furnace and, in addition, built as an air circulating furnace. Its working tempera- ture lies with 550 °C.
