Performance of basalt fiber chopped strands:
Basalt fiber chopped roving/strands is produced by chopped continuous basalt fiber. The single fiber diameter is 11μm-17μm and the length is 3m-90mm. It has good performance of stability at high temperature, antistatic property, and low temperature resistance and so on.
Application Fields of Basalt fiber chopped strands:
1. Usedi in Vapor cement pipe of cooling tower in thermal power plant and nuclear power plant.
2. For the reinforced material used in automobile, train, ship body with resin composite
3. As the reinforcing material in High grade highway asphalt pavement.
4. As the reinforcing material in cement concrete.
5. As the reinforcing material compounded with composite.
6. Used for needled felt, spunlaced nowoven felt and surface carpet yarn, which is high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant.
