Introduction
SD-1000 Solenoid Diagnoser is an innovation instrument to diagnose engine solenoids on-site of a faulty vehicle. With the help of the instrument, the faulty components on the engine can be found faster and so is the repairing time. The instrument can detect solenoid electrical faults as well as mechanical faults, such as stuckvalve.The instrument may be used also for checking the condition of a solenoid in a repairing shop. A rich database contents most of solenoids on commercial vehicles is pre-installed in the instrument. The instrument is an indispensable tool to diagnose solenoid faults for every technician in the vehicle repairing industry.

Operation
1. Diagnose a solenoid
1 Press ”MODE” to set to ‘TEST’ mode
2.Select the target solenoid data from database
3.Press ”START’ to test the solenoid, the LCD displays
a.Solenoid resistance ‘R’, relative to standard value
b.Solenoid inductance ‘L’, relative to standard value
4.Based on the test results, the user is able to determine the condition of the solenoid, normal or faulty.
l Add a new solenoid data to database
5. Connect to the solenoid in good working condition
6. Press ”MODE” to set to ‘TEST’ mode
7. Set the name of the new solenoid
8. Press ”START’ to test the solenoid
9. Press ”SAVE” to save the test results into the database
10. Connect to the solenoid again
11 Select the newly saved data from database
12 Press ”MODE” to set to ‘TEST’ mode
13 Press ”START’ to test the solenoid
14 If the test results on the LCD screen shows the values of “R” and “L” are within 100±10%, then the newly added data is valid. Otherwise re-do the new solenoid calibration.
