Clinical Application: Canine glaucoma
Clinical Explanation: Glaucoma is increased pressure within the eye. Cells inside the eye produce a clear fluid that maintains the shape of the eye and nourishes the tissues inside the eye. The aqueous humor drains out of the eye into the bloodstream through the drainage angle-asieve or meshwork-like area through which aqueous percolates out of the eye. The balance of aqueous fluid production and drainage is responsible for maintaining normal pressure inside the eye.

Medical device: CHEESE 10W 980nm (operation power 1.5 to 2.5w), single pulse

Accessories: 200um bare fiber

Operation procedure:
1. Laser ciliary coagulation through sclera was performed under CHEESE 10W 980nm;
2. A 200um fiber stood on the sclera 3mm out side from limbus;
3. Laser shootings were operated 40 times around cornea
4. After operation, antibiotics and a NSAID were given locally

Advantage:
Laser coagulation was so easy treatment without post-operative complications such as intraocular bleeding.

Notice:
1. When laser shooting, attention was paid not to avoid coagulation of arteries at the angle of 3 and 9 o'clock.
2. After the operation, melted down or carbonized tissues should be wiped off with a moist swab.
3. Selecting the suitable output power and operation mode.

Clinical Application: Canine tumor (Feline)

Clinical Explanation: An abnormal new mass of tissue that serves no purpose

Operation procedure:
1. The skin was dissected in a circle by the fiber of 200um;
2. Bleeding from the bottom of the foramen was controlled by non-contact laser shooting, meanwhile, cutting the tumor by GIGAA dental surgery handpiece;
3. Respiration became smooth after operation;
4. Periodical coagulation of growing granuloma via fiber of 200um.

Advantage:
The whole auricle might be usually resected by traditional operation and the canine had a new cosmetic problem.
