EL Working principle

  An EL lamp consists of light emitting phosphor sandwiched between two conducting electrodes one of which is optically transparent allowing light to escape. As an AC voltage is applied to the electrodes, the electric field causes the phosphor to rapidly charge and discharge, resulting in the emission of light during each cycle. Since the number of light pulses depends on the magnitude of applied voltage, the brightness of EL lamps can be controlled by varying the operating voltage and frequency.
   The general working voltage and frequency of EL lighting source can be turned from AC40V to AC220V and frequency can be turned from 50HZ to 4000Hz.

  The cause of the lighting source is driven by a matched driver. the voltage and frequency ,We can design the EL driver according to customers' requirements, the el area,the brightness ,using environment, life time ect.
 always,we Using DC 3,6,9,12V battery power to design Inverter to drive the general  EL backlights. Using DC12,24V power to design Inverter to drive the car and motorcycle  Dashboard lighting  . Using indoor power of AC110-230V to design Inverter to drive the Advertising light boxes el lighting .
