ZD series self-balancing multi-stage pump is an advanced product designed to meet user requirements. High-efficient energy-saving hydraulic model introduced from abroad change design of the conventional multi-stage pump with balancing assembly, and it contributed to accelerate technical development of high pressure multi-stage pump.
ZD series pump is researched and manufactured per AP1610 Standard, and it leads in the technology of pump business. It features high efficiency, wide performance range, better NPSH, steady operation, low noise, less easy-damaged parts, simple mounting and easy maintenance.
ZD series pump efficiency is increased by 5-14% compared with other same model multi-stage pumps due to no friction loss caused by balancing disk wear and no returning flow loss.
The structure of no balancing disk friction reduced pump shaft power, thus saving energy, i.e. electricity-consumption decreased by approximately 3% than that of same type multi-stage pumps, at the same time it totally solved problems caused by failure of equilibrator and rotator seizure, therefore extended operating time of the pump.
Its operating time without breakdown is three times that of common model pump, which means less cost of maintenance.
Many years operation proves the performance of this series pump reached advanced level in technology compared with other same type products in the world.
It can deliver clean water or other liquids similar to clean water physically and chemically with solid particle contents less than 1.5% of unit volume, particle size less than 1.3mm, and temperatures to 105℃. It also can deliver hot water with temperatures to 225℃, oil, corrosive liquids or liquids with abrasive by utilizing different materials of pump construction, structure, seal form or adding cooling system.
Materials such as HT200, QT600, ZG, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 317L, 904L, CD4 etc. are available for user options.

Structure Features:
This series pump is self-balancing horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pump, with its suction nozzle either vertically upwards or horizontal configuration, and discharge nozzle vertically upwards configuration.
Pump consists of suction casing, stage casing, discharge casing, diffuser, impeller, shaft, throttling and relieving units, spacer, bearing housing, coupling tube etc. components. Stage casing is held in position with high intensity tie bolts between the suction and discharge casing. The seal face is made of molybdenum disulfide hard metal lubricated by grease. Rotator assembly has impeller, throttling and relieving units, shaft sleeve, and collar etc. which are all mounted on shaft. The bearings are lubricated with grease, while one on the driven end is cylindrical ball bearing, and two on the outboard side are angular contact ball bearings. The suction, stage and discharge casing, diffusers and transition tube etc. form the working chamber.
Wear rings and diffuser sleeves are sealed between the stator and the rotator, and they should be replaced should the degree of their wear affect adversely performance of the pump.
Mechanical seal and packing seal are available. While utilizing packing seal, lantern rings should be fixed properly, and packing tightness should be appropriate to the effect of dripping one by one. All seal fittings are put in the seal chamber, where certain pressure water should be injected functioning for sealing, cooling and lubrication. Shaft sleeve is fixed on the shaft seal to protect shaft. The shaft and wear rings can be inspected and replaced without disturbance to the suction and discharge piping.
This series pumps are driven by the motor directly through flexible pin coupling or diaphragm coupling. The pump rotates CW viewed from the motor.
Standard matching Y-series common motor or variable frequency motor, YB/YB 2-series anti-explosive motor under the circumstance of inflammable and explosive ambient.
