CNG cylinders, compressed natural gas cylinders, are available in a number of different types, weights and sizes to suit different NGV(natural gas vehicles). There are mainly two types CNG cylinders manufactured by us, ISO11439 CNG cylinders type 1 and type 2 ,and all of the cylinders are made of qualified steel, 34CrMo4.
The steel cylinder type 1, all steel cylinders, no covering, other than paint, on the shell. It’s cost effective but heavier than type 2. It’s mature products and more widely used worldwide than other three types CNG cylinders.
The steel cylinder type 2, steel liner reinforced with composite wrap partially around the cylinder (hoop wrapped). Lighter weight and on less stronger structure make it more and more welcomed.
All the steel cylinders are manufactured according to strict standard and certified by BV corporation. They are one of the safest factors of using CNG as alternative fuel.
