Product Description
FRP molded grating is a kind of structural plates which uses high-strength fiberglass roving as reinforcing material, thermosetting resin as matrix and then is cast and formed on a special metal mold.
It provides properties such as: Light in weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, solid and anti-skid.
It is widely used in oil industry, power engineering, sewage treatment, ocean survey as working floor, stair tread, trench cover and the like. It is an ideal loading frame on corrosion circumstances.
Properties of our FRP Gratings:
Corrosion-Resistance
Different types of resin provide different anticorrosion properties, which could be used in different corrosive environment, such as acid, alkali, salt, organic solvent(in gas or liquid form)and similar situations over a long period.
Fire-retardant
Qualified matrix resins as well as unique fire-retardant additives provide grating with excellent fire resistant performance. In general, fire retaedant oxygen index is more than 26, the flame spread index is less than 25, and the smoke concentration index is less than 500.
Light weight and high strength
The perfect combination of the continuous E-fiberglass strand and resin provide grating with light weight and high strength properties and its specific weight is only 1/4 of steel, suitable to withstand to various loading structure under corrosive environment.
UV resistance
The high-grade resin and UV inhibitor provide grating ageing resistance performance, and keep its surface brightness and strength over a longer period. The service life of the products could expected to more than 20 years.
Customization
The characteristics of composite materials provide the products very texible in both design and shapes, and colors that meet every customer reuquirement.
Safety and Anti-skid
The high elasticity and surface treatment provided super anti-skid performances. Surface finishing could be of smooth type, concave-in type, gritted surface and checkered type cover, which are suitable for different working environment. The product elasticity could help to reduce fatigue feeling of workers.
Insulation
Fiberglass and high-grade resin provide the products super electric insulation performance. Its electirc pierce strength could reach 10KV/mm. Non-sparkling and non magnetized, it could be used safely under all this environment.
Installation
The company provides series of spare parts and installation service in spots installation guide at customer's cost.
Terrace Installation:
There is at least left 40mm for grating bearing steel and 6mm space between gratings, and 10mm space between the grating and cement.
Use M type or L type clips to fix between the grating and the bearing steel; At least 4 clips for each grating; Use C type clip between non-bearing gratings and at least 1 clip for each 1.8m length grating.
Trench Installation:
The trench size should be times, if possible, of the lattice size to keep the completeness of the lattice and the beauty of the trench.
There should be at least 40mm space cement ground for bearing the grating and 3mm-6mm space between the grating and cement.
Stair Tread Installation:
The stair tread should be installed in the tread frame. The tread frame could be either steel or FRP ones.
There should be 3mm-6mm space between the tread and the frame. Each tread needs 8 clips to fix and 2 clips for each angle.
There are 3 types of clips: M type, C type and L type, which has different usage. The M type clip will be used between grating and the bearing steel to locate the grating. The L type clip will be used between grating and the bearing steel to limitedly locating the grating. The C type clip will be used between grating side and grating side. The clip spare parts(such as bolt, gasket, etc. )are also available.
