1. Introduction
Adopting the advanced microelectronics technology in data collecting, processing and protecting, this series meters can be used for the measurement of single-phase alternating current active energy which rating frequency is 50Hz..It use the card to transfer the data. The capability of this meter is according to the GB/T17215-2002 and GB/T18460.3-2001 . It is characterized by its small size, light weight, high accuracy and reliability.
2. Working principle
The meter consists of two main functions: one is energy measurement element, the other is control system based on MCU. The energy measurement element used time division multiplier produces pulse with the number directly proportional to load current .The MCU counts the pulse to achieve energy measurement function, the MCU achieve the controlling function according exchanging data between Card’s slot and the card.

4.3 Starting
The meter shall start and continue to register under rating voltage, rating frequency and power factor equals 1, when load current reaches 0.4%Lb (class 1.0) /0.5%Ib (class 2.0).
4.4 No-load condition
When a 115% of the reference voltage is applied with no current flowing in the current circuit, the test output of the meter shall not produce more than one pulse.

5. Installation and connection
5.1 The meter shall be positioned indoor where is dry and good in ventilation .The base plate of the meter shall be fixed on wall of solid and fire resisting about 1.8m.
5.2 Connection shall be conformed to the circuit diagram on the cover plate, the contact shall be firm and the conductor had better use cuprum wire or cuprum terminals.
6. Test method
This series of prepayment meter all have the port of the optical coupler test output on the terminals.
7. function and operation
The meter is matched a software system which can give the power to the card, it means that one card can only be used on a certain meter.
7.1 insert card
Inserted card in the card slot, the side of gilt on the left .
7.2 energy input
When you buy the card from the power supply statement, please insert in the card slot. then the power can input the meter, and some data can write back to the card。
7.3 the measure of active energy
Increase the total energy,decrease the remain energy.
7.4 the measure of reverse energy
The meter can measure the reverse energy solely, it can add the reverse energy to total energy, display of LCD is “ ”
7.5 data protection
Adopting high capability Li-battery and non-volatile memory (EEPROM), the main data can be kept 10 year over when the power is cut off.
7. 6 power use control
7.6.1 waring
the remain power in the meter is lower than the t alarm energy, at the same time, the alarming LED will lighten。
the remain power in the meter is lower than the trip alarm energy, the relay will break itself. At the same time, the meter will show the remain energy, it can get back work when insert the invalid user card。
7.6.2 power use control
when the remain power is 0kW·h,the brake break atomatically,and it will show“00”,it can get back the supply function by buying power.
7.7 load control
the power department can set the limit power by the software system,when the user insert the card, the load limit also be put into the meter. when it exceed the load limit, the brake will break, you can get back to use when you insert the card when it does’t exceed the break times, or you must get the check card to get back to use.
7.8 display
The meter has display of LCD, see appendix A
8. Shipping and store
The meter shall not be subject to strong impact during shipping, unpacking and be shipped with special package for precise instruments. The shipping and store elements conform to the GB/T15464-1995《Current technical condition of instrument and meter packaging》.
Meter must be placed on the shelf with original package for storage, but can not piled up more than five layers. Storage environment must be clean, and temperature is -25—70℃, relative humility is not beyond 85%.
9. Period of guarantee
If the meter is unconformity with the requirements stipulated in technical specifications within eighteen months since delivery from the factory in case the customer observes the stipulations in structure and keeps lead seal intact, the factory will repair or replace the meter free of charge.
