Aluminium foil for pharmaceutical packaging tablet capsule etc clearly the first objective achieved is functional, ensuring products are suitably protected from contamination and meet shelf-life requirements. Conventional blister packs are created by thermo-forming a web of plastic film, normally pvc, into pockets. These are filled with the pharmaceutical product e.g. Tablet or capsules and then sealed using heat and pressure.the product is removed from the pack by then consumer pressing it through from the pocket side through the foil.
