The TIRMA birth was developed in 1927 with a coffee roaster. In 1929 it was extended with the chocolate manufacture and, in 1935, with the manufacture of boiled sweets, wafers and jams. In 1941 the company was constituted as a joint-stock company at Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Later the factory was extended again with the manufacture of prepared food as cocoa powder; and the end, in 1999 is created the line of biscuits manufacture.

The Tirma export product reach more than 36 countries, most from the UE and the African Continent. Within their products range, TIRMA can offer at the present time:  Seventeen different chocolates, from most traditional like the chocolate with milk, dry fruits, to most novels, with cream fillings in different taste, formats and weights.

 Also elaborates delicious wafers, such as the chocolate cover ones, that they are stuffed cream wafers and chocolate cover with milk, or the new stuffed cream wafer of toffee or hazelnut. All in different formats and weights.

 The actually biscuits are in three types, round with the mark Guanchitos; finger with the mark Palichoc; and biscuit with chocolate bar added with the mark Chocogalletas. All in three different flavours, dark chocolate, chocolate with milk and white chocolate.

 The hard boiled sweets, the filled sweets and the soft ones, with more than 40 different presentations.

 The aromatic coffees and their blends, in beans and milled, vacuum packaged in more than 20 varieties.

 The family of the cacao set up by the instantaneous cacao; the low cocoa fat sweetened with flour cocoa powder and the food prepared cacao packaged in bags market and tins.

In a industrial building of 16.000 m2 constructed area Tirma produce 14.000 tons we reach the needs of the Spanish and Export markets which represent 35% of the whole.

To reach its production, management, marketing, sell and distribution needs, Tirma has a staff of around 280 employees
