Advantages over ordinary tapes / General Properties and Application

1). The surface of our adhesive tapes has been specially treated so that separation of the synthetic leather is assured and the synthetic leather separates in exactly the same way from the tape as it does from the release paper (casting paper). This means that your production can be assured of continuous release and thereby enable you to produce large rolls of your synthetic leather.

2). Application of our adhesive tapes is easy and instant, with good adhesion properties to release papers. The best possible splice suitable for PU and PVC is to use our 88-06 Black on the top and our 80-55 Kraft Paper Tape on the back. This particular combination ensures the best possible properties.

3). Our customer service is outstanding. We dispatch by air freight worldwide immediately upon receipt of order.

4). Our customers can use splices made from our tapes about six or seven cycles through the casting process.

These systems are designed to withstand the temperature conditions encountered in the production of synthetic leather which require processes of 200 deg C and above for short periods. The tapes have aggressive adhesives for maximum adhesion, even on highly embossed papers.
