| Introduction 1038 Amino-Alkyd fast dry impregnating varnish is a kind of modified varnish based on 1032 Melamine-Alkyd Impregnating varnish. It is made from amino resin, alkyd, dryer and solvent oil etc. Features Good insulation performance, oil resistance, arc resistance, fast dry and shining film. Applications/Use small and medium type motor winding, transformer, ballast and other apparatus coil. immersion method of application. It’s not suitable for hermetic motor. How to use Immersion process 1. Preheat unit for 1 to 3 hours at 100℃ to 130℃ depending on size of unit. 2. Allow unit to cool to 50-60℃ before dipping into varnish. 3. Dip unit in varnish for 5-30 minutes until bubbling ceases. 4. Drain unit for above 30 minutes 5. Bake unit for 30 minutes at 80-90℃, then rise to 120-130℃, keep temperature for 3-6 hours. Thinner Should a reduction of the viscosity be required, our 1038-X should be used. Packing and Storage In steel drum with 15, 16, 180kg capacity. 15kg or 170kg/drum for thinner. It can be stored for at least 6 months in dry and cool room.
