The bath is equipped with an outward opening door and has a low-level entry height. These two features eliminate the difficult process of stepping up, over and into a conventional bath. Once inside, you simply lower yourself onto the contoured, cushioned seat and begin filling the bath with the easily accessible and easy to use thermostatically controlled lever handle taps.

People often try to convert their traditional bathtub into safety baths by adding grab bars and benches. Conventional bathtubs were never designed to be safety baths even with these band-aid style solutions. Bathing is a very difficult task for a large number of the elderly.
