Prior to the Incorporation of Inkwin, Professor Xiaqin Wang formerly of Tokyo University Japan (now transferred to Shanghai University) and Dr Wenbin Li formerly of Shanghai University (Dong Hua) researched into fluid formulations (ink) and dispersion & suspension of nano particles (pigments) in fluids (inks) for over 6 years. Towards the conclusion of this work and to put research into practice Inkwin was formed. Inkwin along with other bodies now supports ongoing research into nano particles in fluids (inks) in Shanghai. Professor Xiaqin Wang continues research today at Shanghai University, having transferred from Tokyo Japan Since Incorporation, Inkwin has been synonymous with excellence in the inkjet printing industry and is now well known as a leading manufacturer of digital printing inks, supplying inks to distributors on a world wide basis and is now one of the fastest growing professional inkjet ink manufacturing companies in the world. Inkwin use their prodigious formulating talents to pioneer the development of inks for digital printers from wide format inkjet, thro’ wide and to grand format printers from all manufacturers of Inkjet Printers. These printers produce graphics for billboard, back light Billboards, Advertising Graphics, Signs & Displays and also Textile Printing.. Printers using print head technologies from around the world are all considered and inks are formulated specifically for them Xaar , Spectra, Epson, Konica, Seiko and others all have separate ink formulations. Regardless of the manufacturer, Inkwin will have a compatible DOD ink.

Inkwin mainly supply directly to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) and to end-users through licensed distributors worldwide.
